Many new and existing services are available from our partnership with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). SPP&T offers all the support you need for the lower maturity processes for CMMI levels 2 and 3 and for your high maturity needs regarding CMMI levels 4 and 5. This includes SEI Certified High Maturity SCAMPI appraisals and associated High Maturity Training and Consulting. We are also certified for the CMMI for Services model.

SPP&T is a SEI Partner for SCAMPI Appraisals and the Intro to the CMMI courses. SPP&T has a client base that is International and
includes clients in the USA, Japan, Brazil, India, China, and Singapore. Let us
support your process improvement initiative by offering:
· CMMI Appraisals
- We are fully certified by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) as a SEI Partner to conduct CMMI SCAMPI Appraisals (Capability Maturity Model Integrated, Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement) for your development (software, hardware, systems engineering) and services needs.
- Synchro PP&T is fully certified by the SEI to provide High Maturity SCAMPI appraisals for level 4 and level 5. It is now required that all level 4 and level 5 SCAMPI appraisals must only be conducted by Certified High Maturity Lead Appraisers that have demonstrated competency in high maturity principles by passing a rigorous exam by the SEI. This certification also covers appraisals for levels 2 and 3.
- Synchro PP&T is fully certified by the SEI to provide CMMI-SVC SCAMPI appraisals for organizations that may or may not also focus on engineering development, but may have the need for a focus on services. It is required that all SCAMPI appraisals must only be conducted by Certified Lead Appraisers that have demonstrated competency in this model by passing the certification exam by the SEI.
· Process Consulting
- We use proven methods (such as IDEALsm Model) for infusing your process improvement activities into your organization. We have many years of successful experience performing CMMI-based process improvement in all environments. To do it on your own means overcoming the many mistakes a novice may make, which extends the time to complete your implementation or as it sometimes happens, destroy your initiative all together. Using our consulting services helps ensure "smooth sailing!"
- We have a full range of consulting services that cover your high maturity needs. Are you sure you are implementing the high maturity concepts correctly regarding process performance objectives, processes, measures, baselines, models, etc.? We offer on-site consulting and training to ensure you do it right!
· Process Training
- Synchro PP&T offers a full set of process related training to further your understanding of the "what and how" of using your processes. We are fully certified to teach these official SEI Courses: the Introduction to CMMI for Development (-DEV), the Intro to CMMI for Services (-SVC), the CMMI-SVC Supplement, CMMI Level 2 for Practitioners, CMMI Level 3 for Practitioners. We also offer many courses that are not SEI-Certified, but are as useful for your process improvement inititive.
